Biography:
Harriet leads the Digital Cancer Research team at the CRUK National Biomarker Centre, University of Manchester. Her team develops digital and AI tools to improve cancer outcomes, including the UpSMART programme to digitise early phase cancer clinical trials. Her career has spanned the academic and public sectors, where her work has had national impacts on digital and AI healthcare. She co-authored the NICE Evidence Standards Framework for digital health and care, and served as a committee member for the first British Standard on AI in health and care, BS30440. Harriet also leads the CRUK Data Interest Group for public involvement and diversity.
