Biography:
Sophie Jose is a Principal Health Data Analyst with 15 years of experience in health informatics. She holds a PhD in Medical Statistics and Epidemiology from University College London and an MSc in Statistics with Applications in Medicine.
In her current role, Dr Jose undertakes research utilising routinely collected observational data to generate insights relating to the diagnosis, management and outcomes of cancer in the NHS in England. A key focus of her work has been a collaboration with AMMF – The Cholangiocarcinoma Charity, through which she has led analyses examining patterns of variation in the diagnosis and treatment of cholangiocarcinoma.
Prior to her current role, Dr Jose worked as a Research Associate in academia for over six years, where her research focused on outcomes for people living with HIV in the UK. It was during this time that she completed her PhD.
