Biography:
Frances Pearl is a computational biologist and cancer researcher developing bioinformatics and AI tools to develop cancer diagnostics and to identify precision therapies. Her work leverages both publicly available data and novel laboratory experiments.

She is also the co-Lead Advisor to  the Cancer Research UK (CRUK),  Data and Samples Reuse Interest Group.  She is  leading the pilot of the CRUK Data Hub,  aimed at improving the findability and accessibility of  existing CRUK funded biological samples and research datasets.
