Biography:
Jenny is Professor of Gastrointestinal Oncology at the University of Leeds and Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology at St James’s University Hospital. She has a portfolio of clinical trials in colorectal cancer and a translational research pipeline. She is the Chief Investigator of the international FOxTROT Trial Platform and ARIEL-ENGIC trial, with mixed academic and industry funding. She is the co-lead of CRUK CRC STARS translational Programme. She is an ESMO Faculty member, with involvement in the Guidelines and Communications Committee.

She is the Chief Investigator of the FOxTROT Trial Platform and ARIEL-ENGIC trial, with mixed academic and industry funding. The FOxTROT Trial Platform investigates the personalization of therapy in the neoadjuvant treatment in locally advanced colon cancer – FOxTROT 2-6 are currently recruiting and is open in the UK, France and India. The ARIEL-ENGIC trial tests AREG/EREG IHC to select patients with right-sided RAS-wt metastatic colon cancer for anti-EGFR therapy and is recruiting in the UK, Italy, Germany and Spain. She is also the co-lead of CRC STARS translational programme, a major bowel cancer investment by Cancer Research UK. She is additionally an ESMO Faculty member, with involvement in the Guidelines and Communications Committee and has chaired the Lower GI Track for the Annual ESMO meeting and ESMO Preceptorships.
