Biography:
Kirsty Elaine Colquhoun.  Consultant Geriatrician and General Internal Physician at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Glasgow Royal Infirmary.  With a special interest in acute frailty, falls, oncogeriatrics and surgical frailty.

I was one of the founding members of the Cancer Older Peoples Service in the Beatson, West of Scotland Cancer Centre.  For 10 years I developed pathways for older adults living with cancer of all tumour types including inpatient, outpatient, prehabilitation and rehabilitation services.  Working alongside McMillan and Maggie’s. I have presented nationally and internationally on QI related to oncogeriatric services.  For 6 years I was the secretary for the British Geriatrics Society Oncogeriatric specialist interest group: developing national policy, guidelines and educational events.  I am currently developing frailty services within Glasgow Royal Infirmary for older adults living with cancer and surgical problems.

I am an Honorary Clinical Lecturer and Sub Dean for the University of Glasgow Medical School and I have developed the first ever Frailty Block within the curriculum as current lead for Frailty.
