Biography:
Dr Peter Littler is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. He specialises in Interventional Oncology (IO) treatments of the liver, running national educational workshops on TACE, SIRT and Ablation, the national ablation study day and lecturing widely nationally and internationally on IO. Peter is actively involved in IO research, most recently leading one of two UK centres evaluating Histosonics liver ablation in the Hope4Livers trial. He is Secretary of the British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR), Past Chair of Interventional Oncology UK (IOUK), was previously Chair of the BSIR Scientific Programme Committee and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Newcastle University.
