Biography:
Dr Tim Cross qualified from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in 1996. He undertook general gastroenterology on the Northeast Thames rotation and underwent hepatology training, at Kings College Hospital, Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge and the Royal Free Hospital. He was as a consultant in the Southwest Liver Unit, Plymouth before taking up a post in Liverpool in 2012. He has an interest in hepatocellular carcinoma, prognostic models of liver disease, the impact of frailty on disease and translational research.
He is a past president of the British Association for the Study of the Liver (BASL) and a honorary associate Professor at the University of Liverpool, in the department of molecular and clinical oncology.
