Biography:
Teresa Corbett is Senior Programme Lead for Neighbourhoods and Living With and Beyond Cancer (LWBC) at Wessex Cancer Alliance. She leads work to improve support for people with a cancer diagnosis, spanning prehabilitation, support during treatment, recovery, and longer-term effects. Her role brings together acute, primary care and community services to develop practical, neighbourhood-based approaches that reflect what people need.
Teresa has a PhD in Health Psychology. Her research focuses on how people live with and beyond cancer, particularly self-management and behaviour change. She has a particular interest in complexity, including the challenges of multimorbidity and how these can be better supported to improve quality of life.
